Rationale

Greater KL/KV will function smoothly and efficiently. Gaps in basic services, such as pedestrian networks, solid waste management, sewage and city cleanliness must be addressed to ensure a well functioning and liveable city.

This study includes baseline information about the generation and existing management of food wastes in the study particularly from the eateries, markets, supermarket etc.

EPP 3: Modernizing and amalgamating various local market formats into large-sized Pasar Komuniti

Objective

• To transform various markets such as Pasar Tani, Pasar Malam, Pasar Minggu into one called Pasar Komuniti. • To coordinate the various markets and amalgamate them into location where conditions are conducive

Actions

• Setting up the 50 Pasar Komuniti with regards to site identification, refurbishment, discussions with market trader

Role of State or PBT’s

• Assisting the KPDNKK, FAMA and JKT to suggest suitable sites

Current status

• Bangunan Pasar Sehari at Jerantut was chosen to be a pilot project for Pasar Komuniti • The pilot project is planned to start in March 2011

KETERANGAN AKTIVITI • Untuk mengawal mutu dan standard penyediaan perkhidmatan spa.

STATUS PROJEK/AKTIVITI • Cadangan Pengklasifikasian Perkhidmatan Spa dan Urutan Refleksologi telah diluluskan dalam Mesyuarat MNKT Ke 63 pada 2 September 2010.

• Kementerian Pelancongan kini sedang memuktamadkan kriteria pengklasifikasian tersebut sebelum ia dilaksanakan.

PERANAN PBT/PBN • PBT adalah disarankan untuk tidak mempertimbangkan pembaharuan lesen perniagaan bagi mana mana premis perkhidmatan spa dan urutan refleksologi jika tidak memenuhi kriteria minimum satu bintang.

 Menyediakan jaringan hijau meliputi komponen Taman Poket, Dataran, Legaran, Jalan Protokol, Pinggir Sungai / Pantai dan Urban Woodland di kawasan bandar yang menghubungkan pusat tumpuan utama di kawasan perbandaran  Memberi keselesaan kepada pengunjung melalui penanaman pokok teduhan dan pengindahan imej bandar bagi tujuan menarik pelancong dalam dan luar negara

TAMAN PERSEKUTUAN

KETERANGAN AKTIVITI • Dibangunkan untuk meningkatkan akses kepada keperluan rekreasi dan sebagai tarikan pelancongan.

• Menjadi pemangkin dan tempat rujukan utama dalam pembangunan dan pengurusan Taman Persekutuan. • KPKT adalah pengawal (Controller) kepada tanah rezab tersebut dan ianya akan diurus tadbir oleh Jabatan Landskap Negara STATUS PROJEK/AKTIVITI • Taman Persekutuan Bukit Kiara dilaksanakan: • Pewartaan lot tanah • Pengurusan Taman telah diambilalih oleh JLN • Penyediaan Pelan Konsep dan Pelan Perincian PERANAN PBT/PBN • Membantu mempromosikan taman untuk tujuan pelancongan.

• Menambahbaik akses dan kemudahan untuk ke taman

TAMAN AWAM BARU

Merupakan core business Jabatan yang bertujuan untuk menyediakan akses kepada kemudahan rekreasi kepada masyarakat setempat.

Taman Awam Baru yang dibangunkan dapat membantu meningkatkan imej kawasana PBT bagi menarik pengunjung dalam dan luar negara Memastikan taman awam yang telah disediakan berada dalam keadaan baik dan berfungsi melalui pemantauan dan penyelenggaraan secara berkala.

Menambahbaik akses dan kemudahan untuk ke taman 17 Taman Awam Baru telah disiapkan

KETERANGAN AKTIVITI

• Pembangunan taman yang memberi tumpuan kepada penyelidikan dan pembelajaran melalui pengumpulan dan kajian terhadap kepelbagaian spesies tumbuhan.
