A Bridge towards the World
The Bologna process has created a unified tertiary
education area, which enables bridges to other
tertiary education systems in the world
Two semesters split the university year
Since 2002 and thanks to the LMD system (Licence,
Master, Doctorat, i.e. Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate),
a better understanding of European diplomas makes
academic exchanges easier and promotes international
mobility
The European Credit Transfer accumulation
System (ECTS) enables equivalencies
Licence corresponds to the early years of studies and is
achieved in 3 years, after validating 180 credits
Master is achieved in two years after validating 120 credits
and Doctorat in three years
