Payments
• Value set at two levels biased in favour of the
more long term unemployed • recruits unemployed for more than 12 months but
less than 24 months: €7,500
• recruits unemployed for more than 24 months:
€10,000
• Payable monthly in arrears, over a two year
period – while employee retained
Some Conditions
• Jobs must be ‘full-time’ at least 30 hours p/w
spanning at least four days p/w
• Employers must be compliant with Irish tax and
employment laws
• Eligible jobs must not displace any other employee
• Recruits must have been unemployed for a period of
at least 12 continuous months
• No limit on number eligible recruits per employer
• Available to employers filling new vacancies as
consequence of natural turnover.

Main Objectives of the Scheme
• Internships for 6/9 months duration
• Keep those on the live register at all skill levels close to
the Labour Market
• Provide an opportunity to gain quality work
experience
• Give employers opportunity to contribute to activation
agenda and assess potential employees
• Over 60% of Interns are in employment within 6
months of completing Jobbridge
