Ceilings & Walls: Fixing a Popped Nail or Screw
in Drywall
1. Drive drywall screw through the drywall.
2. Carefully “dimple” the popped nail using a
hammer.
3. Fill the dimples with joint compound.
4. Allow compound to dry.
5. Apply second coat of joint compound.
6. Sand the area with fine-grit sandpaper.
7. Wipe, prime, and paint surface.

1. Widen the surface of the crack using a
hammer and chisel.
2. Remove debris.
3. Wet surface.
4. Spread plaster patch material.
5. Allow time to dry.
6. Apply second coat of patch material.
7. Sand surface smooth.
8. Prime and Paint.

Surfaces
Manual Technique:
1. Prepare redi-mixed joint compound.
2. Apply compound with 3/8” nap roller.
3. Feather out the rolling.
4. Do a final roll in one direction.
5. Allow time to dry completely.
6. Lightly sand.
7. Rub the repaired area with cloth.
8. Prime and paint.

Peel Surfaces
Aerosol Spray Technique:
1. Protect working area with plastic.
2. Read instructions for spray texture.
3. Hold spray can 12” to 24” from surface.
4. Spray using circular motion.
5. Let dry and paint.

Peel Surfaces
Using a Pressure Sprayer:
1. Protect working area with plastic.
2. Read the instructions.
3. Stand 3 to 4 feet from the wall.
4. Move sprayer in sweeping motion.
5. Rinse and clean equipment.
6. Let dry and then paint.
Tile: Cleaning Grout

Spray Cleaner or Bleach.
Let cleaner soak into grout.
Scrub grout with stiff brush.
Dry grout with a clean cloth.
Apply grout sealer.
Keep clean.
Tile: Re-grouting Tile
Prepare the Area:
• Scrub tile & grout with cleaner.
• Remove damaged grout with grout saw.
• Clean area.
Apply Grout & Sealer:
• Mix grout
• Damp area
• Apply new grout
• Smooth the new grout
• Let the grout dry.
• Clean and apply grout sealer.
Tile: Replacing Tile
1. Remove the Damaged Tile.
2. Install the Replacement Tile.
3. Apply Grout.
