Certificate for Library Assistants (with HKLA since 1964) Entry requirement

5 passes, including English, at grade E or above in HKCEE, or equivalent

Diploma of Teacher Librarianship

Entry requirement

A teacher certificate or equivalent (subject to Education Bureau’s requirements if sponsored by EDB)

Duration 2 years (12 modules)

Provide school librarians with professional knowledge and skills on: • library and information science •- analyzing information needs for teachers and learners •- the use of information and learning resource according to curriculum objectives Course fee: $35,000 Commencement date – October 2010
