The TIR Carnet
The number of Customs offices of …
Departure + Destination = maximum of FOUR
 No reloading is permitted (All Customs offices of
departure to be before the first Customs of
destination)
 TIR Holder should clearly fill in the TIR Carnet so
that Customs can easily add /cross out from the
goods manifest the loaded / unloaded goods
 The goods should be loaded so that the first
consignment can be unloaded without unloading the
other consignments.

Using TWO TIR Carnets
- consecutively

Using TWO TIR Carnets

 Each TIR Carnet covers a separate load compartment or
container
 Each TIR Carnet can have a maximum of FOUR

the other TIR Carnet (for Customs use)
