•Help the children to do things themselves without
interrupting them.
•The staff should encourage the children's learning
and give them a sense of belief that they can
accomplish any task.

•All tables, chairs and shelves with activities on
them, should be of the child's own height.
•Children are given the choice when they wish to
sleep and eat. The children are never forced.
