Function
•
Raw materials are metered by V-shaped,
quick opening slide gates into the weigh
hopper. When all ingredients have been
metered according to the reciepe, a flapper
opens and dumps the batch into the mixing
chamber

A specially designed 3D-mixer
homogenizes the material smoothly
•
After mixing the material is delivered to the
process
•
While homogenizing one batch, the next
batch is metered into the weigh hopper

Metering of materials
• The V-shaped metering gates
are acting with one dispense
cycle. Then they adjust the
balance of of the requested
weight ammount by „short
cycling“ the gate
• Every batch is exact the
same as the previous one.
• By using the multi-shot
principle our gates are able to
meter very small amounts of
granule with highest
accuracy.

Mixing the batch
• High performance 3D-mixer for
highest accuracy
• The mixer reaches the complete
mixing chamber  no clerance
volume.
• Adjustable mixing time
• Controlled dump gate for filling a
GRAVITROL® weigh hopper.
• Low leve proximity switch.
• Front door with safety interlock.
• Nozzle for compressed air for
cleaning purposes (option)

Mixing the batch
• The well engineered 3D-mixer
(agitator) ensures the perfect
homogeneity ot the blend
• The mixing chamber gate is
closed during homogenisation
cycle. This ensures that only
homogenised material enters
the process

Accuracy
Result of a test in our laboatory: GUARDIAN® vs. popular competitor‘s batch blender. Each
point represents the percentage of masterbatch in one material sample. 200 samples from
each blender were taken to make the study statistically firm.
Please focus on the much better standard deviation of our GUARDIAN® blender.

Self cleaning is a useful
option for all lines with
frequent reciepe change.
• Air nozzels clean the
weighing chamber and the
mixing chamber until the
last pellet is out.
• By reducing the down-time
of a line, the self-cleanign
option pays for itself within
a short time
• This self-cleaning option
is available for all
GUARDIAN® blenders.
