• Support at Least 2 Recommended Rides (30
supported in 2013)

(LCIs)
• League of American Bicyclists’ (LAB’s) training
program
• Instructor requirements: 30 hours classroom &
hands-on bike safety training
• LCI required for Gold Level Safety Award in
2014
• LCIs available to teach Group Riding Skills
classes to teams
Group Riding Skill Courses
• Educate riders on what to expect in a large
group rides
• Bike handling skills for riding in tight groups
• Classes offered by NMSS
• Private class options for teams
