Roommate Requests
• If you meet a student at Orientation that you would like to
request as your roommate:
-If both students are assigned to the same RLC, both
students need to send an email request to [email protected]
by July 28th.
-If students are assigned to different RLCs, please contact
the Housing Office right away for more information.

•Once roommate assignments are posted in August, no roommate
changes will be allowed until the Room Change Request period
during the fall quarter (beginning October 4th)

Our chefs create menus using fresh sustainable ingredients
suitable for a variety of diets including vegetarian and vegan.

Resident Dining Plan
•The Preferred (1,450 points) and Basic (1,239
points) Resident Dining Plans are flexible quarterly
allowance options selected on the Housing contract
for all living on campus offering 9.25% savings over
cash purchases.
•Eat anytime, anywhere on campus. “Pace Yourself”
charts posted at cash registers.
•Up to 65 unspent points carry over quarter to
quarter. Unspent balance forfeited at end of year
only.
Changing Your Plan
• To change your Resident Dining Plan, submit a
Resident Dining Plan Change Request Form to the
Housing Office by the deadline.
•August 13th for the Fall Quarter
•November 12th for Winter Quarter
•February 11th for Spring Quarter
Resident Dining Plans cannot be changed once the
quarter has started.

Dining Plus Plan
• Flexible in amount
• Ideal for commuters or residents augmenting
their Resident Dining Plan
• Valid at all on-campus dining locations
• 9.25 % savings over cash.
• Unspent balance expires only when student
ends enrollment.
Summer Renovation
• Benson Center dining re-opening in September after
a major renovation. The new Marketplace will
connect with a new Bronco.
• Walls to be opened to allow for expanded seating and
more flexibility over the day.
• Larger serving area to allow for added offerings.
• Modern dining ambiance includes more natural light
from a dozen skylights
• Registers located at each station to allow for payment
as you order for faster service and reduced wait times
The Marketplace
– Farmer’s Pantry – salad bar, composed salads, breads
and fruit, cereals and waffle bar, juice, coffee and milk
– Sauté - a Mongolian inspired salad/pasta/stir fry station
offering made to order dishes
– The Bistro - traditional international cuisine, crepes,
paninis, and a carving station
– La Parrilla – burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, taco
salads, and specialties (ie: enchiladas)
– California Deli - prepared salads, whole meats and sides
for take outs and barbeques, and made to order sandwiches
The Bronco
• Expanded hours to serve lunch and dinner in addition to a late night
menu
– Tailgaters – Exhibition style grill station for hot charbroiled entrees,
burgers, and fries
– 540 Pizza and More – Freshly made entrees from the brick oven
including pizzas, calzones, lasagna, ziti, etc.
– Quench – Gelato, aguas frescas, flavored freshly-brewed teas, and
smoothies.
• Bronco Student Services Delivery – Between 9:00pm and the close of
The Bronco, residents can order selected items from these menus online to
be delivered directly to their residence hall room!
Mission Bakery + Café
This café features an espresso bar, grab-and-go
salads, ready made sandwiches, freshly baked
desserts & pastries. Offers daily lunch & dinner
entree specials.
Sunstream Café
Made to order coffee & tea blended drinks,
sandwiches, shaker salads, snacks, & more.
Cadence Cyber Café
Convenient for those on the north-end of
campus, this café features grain & vegetable
salads, grilled panini sandwiches, coffee, tea,
and a chocolate beverage bar.
Cellar Market
On-Campus convenience store with a variety of natural
and traditional groceries.
Offerings include fresh produce, snacks, beverages,
cooking ingredients, and ready to go salads, sandwiches,
and hot entrees.

Textbook Rental Program
• Students can save in up front textbook costs by renting
online or in the store for 45% of the cost of purchasing
new.
• Rented books must be returned, in good condition, by
last day of finals. Normal usage, note taking, and
highlighting in rented textbooks are acceptable.
• Rentals returned damaged or after the due date will
result in a charge to the credit card on file.

Textbook ISBN numbers and prices will be
posted on the Bookstore’s web site by class
registration each quarter to give you
information on the full cost of courses when
making registration decisions.
Cash for Books
We buy back used books & pay up
to 50% of the original cost if we
know the faculty plan to use the
books the following quarter.
We offer for sale as many used
books as possible to allow you to
save 25% off the price of new
books.
