• Both Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield were both best friends as kids. They were born four days apart in Brooklyn, New York, 1951.They started Ben and Jerry’s together at the ages of about 27. They are no longer part of Ben & Jerry’s, but they’re still living.

Why Was Ben & Jerry’s so Successful

• Because of the many unique flavors that they created (e.g. Cherry Garcia, Imagine Whirled Peace, Americone Dream, etc.) • Also, they are located in a lot places so they’re convenient.

What Companies Benefit from Ben & Jerry’s • Weight Loss Supplement Companies because ice cream has sugars and fats that can make you gain/increase in weight (even if there’s low fat flavors not every flavor comes as low fat) so people would get their product to lose weight if they’ve had too much ice cream.

• For the same situation, it could benefit gyms or workout equipment sellers/selling companies if the person wants to exercise the fat away.

In What Ways Has Ben& Jerry’s Been an Inspiration to Others • They’ve inspired others to be creative, like how they were being creative with the unique or different flavors that they came up with.

• Also, that if you put your mind to it, you can do anything. I say that you can learn that from the fact that they took a five dollar ice cream class together and from starting there, they are now well known across the entire globe.
