Objectives

Implement a consistent and effective EPM solution by
standardization of:




information through the use of templates to better plan and manage
projects
project, portfolio, program, and resource reporting
dashboards with relevant information to senior management
program-specific project management workflow, reporting, and dashboards
Rapidly decrease cost and time to deploy a
program to full operating capability
 Provide visibility into enterprise-wide resource
availability and utilization


• Over the last year, HQ-IT architected and implemented the
infrastructure
• Microsoft’s Enterprise Project Management (EPM) platform
integrates:
• MS Project Server 2010
• MS SharePoint 2010
• MS Office 2010
• Configured to meet enterprise-wide and program-specific needs
• Microsoft EPM is installed on the GDIT SPX external server farm
• Development and production environments
• Separate site collections for HQ-IT, CHSS, ASD, ISD, and NAFS
