Procedures for communicating concerns with a coach are as follows:

1. Encourage your child to speak directly with his position coach FIRST. Many times natters can be resolved in this manner.

2. Call the coach in advance to set up a meeting appointment. It is never recommended to attempt such a meeting as one is entering or leaving the practice or game field as these can often be emotionally charged times for all.

3. If a coach cannot be reached, contact the athletic director’s office to assist you in making an appointment for a meeting.

4. If the meeting with the coach does not provide a satisfactory resolution, call and set up an appointment with the head coach.

5. If the meeting with the head coach does not provide a satisfactory resolution, call and set up an appointment with the athletic director to discuss the situation.
