Kitchen Bar was established in 2005 to provide Johannesburg with a true intercontinental dining experience from silver service to
café style relaxing.
Founded by Chris Tatsakis, this restaurant remains one of Johannesburg's finest establishments and with 520 seats it is one of
the largest restaurants in the country.
Located in the very vibrant Design Quarter in Fourways, Kitchen Bar is a perfect meeting place for people. The space is warm,
comfortable and has a fantastic ambiance. Our customers also benefit from our wireless internet access.
Our menu offers a wide selection of mouth watering dishes to tempt any palette.
For something light, try the Club Sandwich, a triple decker with bacon, ham, egg, lettuce, mayo, cheddar tomato or a Chicken
Burger with pineapple. For something a bit more substantial, try one of the Kitchen Bar Pastas or grab a pizza (you can even
design your own)! For the meat lovers, a must have is the Lamb Shank Signature Dish, slow roasted to perfection and served
with briami veg mix, and a choice of chips, baked potato or mash. The Kitchen Bar also offers a variety of vegetarian dishes and
fresh salads.
One cannot visit the Kitchen Bar without trying the Signature Chocolate Brownies but the Frozen Yoghurt Bliss, Hot Chocolate
Soufflé, Almond and Maraschino and the assorted cakes are well worth the visit too!

Our master chefs are all from India and bring with them at least seven proud generations of Indian culinary
knowledge and traditions.Their culinary talents are reflected in their dishes which are all characterised by

Garry Chemaly has been in the restaurant business since 1975 when he opened his first seafood
restaurant, Lord Prawn, in Durban. He then moved to Parkmore in 1984 where he established and
managed Lord Prawn, Sandton for 19 years, which he then relocated to The Post House, Bryanston.
Montego Bay Restaurant was established in 1994 by Garry Chemaly. It is situated in the heart of Sandton
on the Nelson Mandela Square and offers the perfect venue for all occasions, with spacious seating
extending out onto the square where you are able to dine under African skies.

Owner Cinzia Spalletti says the name of her restaurant is based on an Asian myth that says if you look at
the full moon and see a rabbit, you are in love.
It’s this sense of romance that pervades Rabbit in the Moon, where Cinzia and chef Ivano Belotti do
everything with a very Italian passion and an eclectic eye.

Having travelled the world, filling several passports in the process, Chantel found her second home in Paris where she fell in love with
the Belle Epoque Restaurants such as Le Grand Colbert, Vaganende and La Fermette Marbeuf.
When asked how she wanted to decorate Restaurant Mosaic, her choice was easy – in the Art Nouveau style.
Renowned South African Impressionist artists and interior decorators were commissioned to step back in time to
the romantic early 1900s to create a restaurant that was both romantic and unique.
It has an intimate feel with booth-type seats and two private dining rooms.
When the restaurant is open, award-winning chef Chantel Dartnall
is always in attendance and always meets the diners to explain the menu and answer questions.
