     Schools in SD37: Had to physically print less than 5 Report Cards I have my incoming Grade 8 Parents signin and do course requests … great introduction to our Parent Connect expectations for upcoming year I have over 6 pages of parent done information changes (audit STU.290) which has saved me all of that manual effort One my parents were on holidays and able to confirm that their children did attend school that day!

Interim report cards used to generate 8000 sheets of paper per reporting period – now none!

How to Promote?

 Use more features to give them a reason to want to sign in Promote at Porfolio nights, in your newsletters Enforce online course request approval Post your newsletter within ParentConnect on the bulletin board  Enforce things like online form approval or online report card or online parent teacher interview schedules

 Parent Connect should be using Random Passwords! Should not continue with current strategy:  Get all existing accounts to ensure that they have changed their password (3 month leeway maybe).  We will (one time) remove all IDs that have not and then regenerate IDs and random passwords  Use STU.994 to produce letters for all the new IDs  Process in place on new adds to provide ID to parent
