RESEARCH AND DESIGN ( 1 DAY)
Today we will continue to work on IDEATION.
• Remember the size of your substrate (surface)
• Create 3 possible sketches… talk about your idea with
one other person before you show me
• Think big but be reasonable
• What will be the Kinetic addition to your project?
CONSTRUCTION ( 4 DAYS)
Today we will work on CONSTRUCTION.
• Remember to allow for contrast in your layers
• Use a variety of methods to create levels that are clear
• We want to see 0-4 in terms of levels
• Nothing higher than 2 inches
• Be sure your construction is sturdy
JOINT COMPOUND( 1 DAY)
Today we will be icing your project.
• Be sure to completely cover/fill with JOINT
COMPOUND.
• Cardboard edges
• Seams
• Surfaces
GESSO ( 1 DAY)
Today we will be priming the project and deciding how to
add color.
• Gesso your entire project
• Create an updated sketch and color
BE PREPARED TO PAINT FOR 2 DAYS, STARTING
TOMORROW.
PAINT WITH ACRYLIC PAINT (2 DAYS)
Today we will be beginning one of two painting days.
