TELUS Project Comments
Contractor Cost:
The Village
of Lions Bay
1) We expect savings when BC Hydro/TELUS/Shaw
conduit is placed by the same contractor at the same
the same tender.
time on
2) Does not include the cost to punch a pipe under the
railway since cost savings are possible when utilities
jointly.
are placed
3) When the public portion of the job is tendered, an
optional separate cost can be requested from the
contractor for the private property portion. Due to the
efficiencies of scale in doing the 62 lots at the same
time as the
public portion, we expect the cost to be
lower than
each homeowner arranging for their own
contractor.
