in this agreement shall be utilized when requesting or
acknowledgement of any procedure defined therein. Aircrews
should notify L30 if they will be unable to comply with any

LAS/L30 - Expectations
SCOPE.
• The procedures outlined herein apply only to aircraft
operating with the callsign “EJA” (ex. EJA123) or any
registration ending in QS (ex. N451QS)
• These procedures are only in effect 6/16/2011 to
6/20/2011
(Thursday to Monday)

RNAV Visual
Approach Runway
19L/R.
All NetJet aircraft filed for LAS are requesting
the “RNAV Visual” procedure to Runway
19L/R. NetJet aircraft must report McCarran in
site before L30 will assign this procedure.
When L30 utilizes this procedure the following
phraseology will be used.
“EJA123 cleared for the RNAV Visual
approach runway 19 right.”
or
“EJA123 proceed direct TOWEN (any
point on procedure), cleared “RNAV
Visual approach runway 19 Right”
This constitutes a clearance to fly the
procedure as submitted and an approach
clearance to the assigned runway.

NetJet RNAV Visual
Approach Runway 19L/R.
• All NetJet arrivals are requesting to use
this procedure. When traffic permits,
accommodate this request.
• Note: L30 does not have internal
procedures to utilize the RNAV Visual
from the west, it is still published with
that transition. It is still in the
signatory’s FMS databases.

Henderson - Arrivals
•
All aircraft filed for HND from the northwest
(Sunset/Fuzzy) are requesting the Sunset arrival to
Sunset then join the “NetJet HND arrival”
•
This standing request includes a request for a VFR
descent to join a segment of the NetJet procedure at
an altitude listed. This request is IAW the FAA order
7110.65T 7-1-2-a-1
Henderson - Arrivals
At the request of NetJets, in an effort to maximize NetJets operational interests,
NetJets aircraft are expected to cancel IFR flight at or prior to WHND4.
All NetJets operations that cancel IFR shall have a standing request for flight
following and class bravo services when applicable. NetJets aircraft that
cancel their IFR status will continue, to the extent operationally feasible, to
conform to the remainder of their previously issued NetJets arrival.
Weather permitting; L30 will clear all NetJet aircraft for a visual approach. If an
aircraft does not have the airport in sight by HAKID or WHND4 respectfully,
expect to transition back to an assigned IFR altitude and radar vectored to be
resequenced.
If an aircraft after flying an assigned special NetJet arrival has not cancelled IFR
flight and has not received ATC instructions to direct the flight otherwise, shall
proceed direct to HND and request instructions from L30.
HND CLARR Arrivals may be routed on the CRESO arrival. This will be a
dynamic TMI.
Henderson - Arrivals
Aircraft will remain on the SUNST2 with a
standing request to join the RVAV visual into
HND.
“EJA123 after SUNST descend via the
NetJet HND arrival, maintain VFR
conditions”
or from the east:
“EJA123 proceed direct WHND2 (any point
on procedure) descend via the NetJet HND
arrival, maintain VFR condition below 7,000”
Note: WHND1 is pronounced Waypoint 1
The assignment of the
NetJet HND arrival does not
constitute an approach
clearance.
Henderson - Arrivals
NetJet aircraft that cancel their IFR
status will continue, to the extent
operational feasible, to conform to
the remainder of their previously
issued NetJet arrival.
If an aircraft after flying an assigned
special NetJet arrival has not
cancelled IFR flight and has not
received ATC instructions to direct
the flight otherwise, shall proceed
direct to HND and request
instructions from L30.
The assignment of the
NetJet HND arrival does not
constitute an approach
clearance.
Henderson-Departures
•
All NetJet HND departures are considered to be requesting the
“NetJet LARAH ONE Departure” when utilizing runway 35L/R.
•
All NetJet HND departures are considered to be requesting the
“NetJet HARIK ONE Departure” when utilizing runway 17L/R.
•
All NetJet HND departures are considered to be requesting a
VFR climb after departure IAW FAA 7110.65T 7-1-2-a-2.
•
NetJet aircraft utilizing the LARAH One or HARIK One departure
shall climb via the submitted procedure. Both procedures
restrict these flights below class bravo airspace. Unless
directed by ATC, NetJet aircraft assigned these departures shall
not enter class bravo airspace and comply with all altitude
depicted on the NetJet procedure.
Henderson-Departures
•
ZLA will only see the true NAS related departure information: HEC, GFS,
EED, COWBY or TRALR.
•
L30 Flight Data will write which Departure and Transition the NetJet
aircraft are on. HEC or SJN (St Johns) which will go via EED.
•
HND NetJet departures, as all IFR HND departures are call for release.
•
The following phraseology will be used when issuing initial departure
clearance from HND.
•
L30 relayed by HND:
•
“EJA123 cleared to (LAX) via NetJet LARAH One departure HEC
transition HEC as filed, maintain VFR conditions until LARAH/MGHEE,
maintain 8000, expect FLXXX 10 minutes after departure, squawk
XXXX”. HOLD FOR RELEASE
•
To the extent possible, limit shortcut routings and leave NetJet aircraft
on the assigned routes. If shortcutting the NetJet route, clear aircraft to
new fix and re-state assigned altitude. (Note: “Climb and maintain”
constitutes the aircraft is afforded IFR separation)
Henderson – Departures
L30 FD
1. a. Write the appropriate transition on
the Flight progress strip. HEC BACCK
or SJN.
b. BACCK will not be issued for aircraft
going via TRALR or COWBY.
c. SJN will be for Aircraft going via EED.
2. Will issue clearance to HND tower:
EJA123 cleared to (LAX) via NetJet LARAH One
departure HEC transition HEC as filed, maintain VFR
conditions until LARAH/MGHEE, maintain 8000, expect
FLXXX 10 minutes after departure, squawk XXXX”.
Hold for Release.
3. Give Flight Progress strip to appropriate
sector. (CYN)
4. The Sector/TMC will call HND to release
the A/C

7-1-2. VFR CONDITIONS
a. You may clear aircraft to maintain
“VFR conditions” if one of the
following conditions exists:
1. The pilot of an aircraft on an IFR
flight plan requests a VFR
climb/descent.
2. TERMINAL.
The clearance will result in noise
abatement benefits where part of
the IFR departure route does not
conform to an FAA approved noise
abatement route or altitude.
b. When, in your judgment, there is
reason to believe that flight in VFR
conditions may become impractical,
issue an alternative clearance
which will ensure separation from
all other aircraft for which you have
separation responsibility.
PHRASEOLOGY:
MAINTAIN
VFR CONDITIONS.
MAINTAIN VFR CONDITIONS UNTIL (time or
fix).
MAINTAIN VFR CONDITIONS ABOVE/BELOW
(altitude).
CLIMB/DESCEND VFR,
and if required,
BETWEEN (altitude) AND (altitude)
or
ABOVE/BELOW (altitude).
