A refugee is a person who
is outside of his or her
country and is unable or
unwilling to return
because of persecution or
a well-founded fear of
persecution.

•Prepare and submit applications for adjustment to lawful
permanent resident (LPR) status on behalf of asylees, refugees
and others.
•Counsel and assist refugees, asylees and others in:
a) Reuniting with family members
b) Acquiring work authorization
c) Acquiring travel documents
d) Applying for naturalization
