 Review your schedule provided for you
now to be sure you understand your
targets.
 Check with your teachers today to be
sure you know what is expected of you
tomorrow.
 Independent/Enrichment Learning
 For 9-10 grade students you are assigned to the
commons and the Performing Arts Center (PAC).
 Be prepared to work the entire period. No passes
will be provided. You may do homework or read a
book for silent, sustained reading.
 General Intervention (guided practice and/or
time)
 You will be with other classroom teachers,
paraprofessionals or student volunteers (grades 9-12)
who will support your general learning or course
progression needs.
 Your teacher assigned you to use this time to work on
your own for a specific purpose. Please ask your teacher
what is expected of you during your time tomorrow.
 Focused Intervention
 You will be with your individual classroom teacher or
department member (grades 9-12) will support a specific
teacher identified student learning need.
•Your schedule lists where you are
assigned tomorrow morning.
•There is a TTA period and a
TTB period listed on your schedule.
•Targeted Tuesday student schedules are also posted on the
Campus Parent/Student Portal.
•The remainder of the day will follow your periods 1-7 schedule.
NOTE: Periods 4 and 5 are switched because of our lunch
serving schedule!
 Student attendance is expected as normal and will be
taken for both Targeted Tuesday sessions.
 All 9th and 10th grade students are required to attend
school on all Targeted Tuesdays and will be assigned a
specific intervention or enrichment during both morning
sessions.
 9th and 10th grade students with an enrichment period
should be prepared to work the entire period. No passes
will be provided. You may do homework or read a book
for silent, sustained reading.

 Students assigned a Focused or General Intervention:
are required to attend school on Targeted Tuesdays
during the session/s scheduled.
 Students targeted for enrichment will be involved in a
direct or indirect enrichment and only not need to
arrive at EVHS in time for your 9:30am 1st period class,
which will begin the regular school day.
 Options for 11 or 12th grade students targeted for
Independent Enrichment are encouraged to do one
or more of the following:
 Create an academic study group
 Work on your individual homework
 Complete any supplemental work
 Focus on your post high school planning
 Your schedule indicates your assignment for
tomorrow morning.
 If your class time here conflicts with your
commitment outside of EVHS, please work
with an administrator to determine the best
action to take.
 Period 1 & 2 students will attend your career class if you are NOT assigned
an intervention. If you have an intervention assigned you must attend the
intervention. Your schedule will indicate this. Period 1 and 2 will occur after
you Career class is done; you may attend a study hall at EVHS or arrive at
EVHS for your period 3 class at 10:40.
 Period 4 & 5 students will NOT attend your career class and you will have a
school exempted absence in the class. You will be assigned to a study hall
in the Career Center in student services (you will be in periods 2, 3, and 4
here at EVHS during the normal Career class time).
 Period 6 & 7 students will be dismissed here at 1:12pm to attend
your career class.
