Objective of the Topology information component • Provide information concerning – The underlying network topology ( IP/AS-Level ) • Add two additional measurement subcomponents.

– Active measurement subcomponent • Traceroute@home: IP-level route traces • Improve the monitoring capability – Allows applications to query component.
