• Complete Emergency Leave (EL) packet.
• Soldier weapon remains with unit. Soldier
strip down IBA, will travel in IBA and ACH
• Manifest Soldier on next flight from FOB to
BIAP. Forward manifest to BDE S1
• Soldier flies from BIAP to Ali AL Salem.
• Forward EL information to BDE S1 and Rear
Detachment .

•SATO will arrange travel via charter flight to
Atlanta or Dallas or commercial ticket to
destination in US.
• 556 PSB will ensure transport to KCIA for all
Soldiers, charter and commercial flight.

Soldiers Responsibility
•Upon receiving travel itinerary Soldier must
call the BN S1 and Rear Det representative via
DSN to inform of arrive time and date into US.
Rear Detachment
• Receive itinerary from returning Soldier.
• Coordinate travel from arrival point in US to
emergency leave location.
• Approval authority for EL extension
• Notify forward unit of all EL extensions
