Purpose:
To give a brief explanation of the management of
the student-led organization FCCLA: Family,
Career, and Community Leaders of America in the
State of Utah.

Responsibilities:
•Manage and direct Family and Consumer Science for the
State of Utah.
•Encourage and promote Family, Career and Community
Leaders of America for the State of Utah.
•Serve as member of the Utah FCCLA State Advisory Board.

Responsibilities:
•Encourage and facilitate the growth of FCCLA Chapters in the State
of Utah.
•Work with FCCLA Advisers in the State of Utah by being a direct
liaison with the FCCLA National Organization.
•Work directly with the State Officers in developing leadership skills
•Work with officers and advisers to develop and encourage Chapter
Programs of Work throughout the State of Utah.
•Serve as member of the Utah FCCLA State Advisory Board.

Responsibilities:
•Work with FCCLA State Officers in the State of Utah in developing
leadership skills.
•Assist the FCCLA State Officers in the State of Utah in planning and

State Conferences.
•Serve as member of the Utah State FCCLA Advisory Board.

Area Meetings.

Conferences (January-February) each year.
•Work directly with Area State Executive Council Advisers and State Executive
Council (State Officers).
•Serve as a member of the Utah FCCLA State Advisory Board. (Elected to a fiveyear term.)

Responsibilities:
•Represent their individual areas at the state level.
•Responsible for direction of FCCLA on the state level by supporting and
encouraging their state officer to promote the theme, motto, and goals.
•Represent their individual areas at all SEC (State Executive Council) meetings.
•Encourage and support their individual state officer to be prepared for
Leadership, Area Meetings, and State Convention.
•Work directly with Area Board member to implement the Area Conference and
STAR event Competition.
•Coordinate and help direct the State Convention.
•Present adviser-to-adviser training from the National Leadership Conference at
the State Leadership Meeting in the fall.
