• • • • • ABLE has been pro active in: Suggesting the setting up an Independent Biotechnology Regulatory Authority of India(BRAI) Development and use of GM crops following science based methods Assure Intellectual Property protection that encourages Innovation Enable Clinical Trials to be conducted in a transparent and efficient manner to enable development and access to safe and efficacious medicines in a timely manner.

Make India a global hub for fermentation based industries.

 ABLE has signed MOUs with various organizations Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) to facilitate technical knowledge & exchange information on biotech industry.

 European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) to foster cooperation in the biotech arena.

 Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA) for broad ranging co operation in the field of biotechnology to support breakthrough discoveries agriculture & clean energy in healthcare,  NASSCOM to investigate synergies between Biotech and IT for Healthcare and other sectors
