IPA to take a free stand at Empac 2015 Trade Show (25 – 26 February) at the NEC, Birmingham to promote the association and our members. Members will be invited to exhibit on an individual basis – please advise preferred sales team contact details.

Overview of Key Regulations & Standards – September 2014 • IBC Production Leak Testing concerns Swedish Paper withdrawn at June UN meetings • GHS Corrosivity Issues – continued scrutiny for Packing Groups Ongoing • Revised WM2 Hazardous Waste Guidelines – effective now Advised no further change but SIA continue to fight • UN 3509 applied to un-cleaned scrapped packaging from 2015 UK to allow continuation of Empty Packaging Criteria for scrap • Metal IBC wall thickness proposals from SSCA Not accepted by UN • France BPA ban – applicable to drums & IBCs?..

• Load Securing Guidelines Understood will be enforced in full by UK authorities
