We established a new process this year to
seek applications for autonomous schools
 In June 2013, BPS released the 2014-15 Autonomous Schools RFP
 Single application aligns key deadlines with district budget and
staffing timelines
 Application process included review of innovation prospectuses
and final innovation plans
 Two Innovation plans have completed the full process and will be
shared tonight
