Program (HSSP)

• FULL Tuition and fees anywhere student goes (w/AFROTC)
• $900/year Flat Rate for Textbooks & Required Fees
• $300-500/month non-taxable stipend (pizza money)
• Type II (4 year or 3 year) – 25% of Awardees
• $18,000/year for Tuition
• Student CAN & MUST make up difference if tuition > than 18K/yr
• $900/year Flat Rate for Textbooks & Required Fees
• $300-500/month non-taxable stipend (pizza money)
• Type VII (4 year) “Targeted” – 70% of Awardees
• $9,000/year for Tuition
• Student CANNOT make up difference--tuition must be < 9K
• Student CAN opt to convert offer to 3 year type II

Program Description
2 Yrs: “General Military Course” (GMC) – Total: 4 Credit Hours*
• AS Class: 1 Hour/Week
• Intro to the Air Force (Freshmen), AF History (Sophomore)
• Leadership Lab: 2 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led)
• Drill & Ceremonies, learn about AF, wear uniform, leadership
practice, have fun, prep for Field Training
• Physical Training: 2 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led)
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6am-7am
2 Yrs: “Professional Officer Course” (POC) – Total: 12 Credit Hours*
• Contracted with the Air Force
• Class: 3 Hours/Week
• Leadership (Junior), Nat’l Security Affairs/Prep for AD (Seniors)
• Leadership Lab: 3 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led)
• Plan/Run Leadership Lab, practice leadership
• Physical Training: 2 Hours/Week (Cadet-Led)
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6am-7am
