ABB
HPA BREAKER
The HPA series of CB are designed and type tested to meet the
requirements of IEC-60056 / IS:1318
The HPA series of CB use SF6 gas as insulating and arc
interruption medium
Arc interruption and control are achieved by puffer principle
Short arc duration followed by rapid dielectric recovery
Long electrical life, as the interruption system develops low arc
energy and contact wear is minimal
Long mechanical life with study and proven operating
