RPC Blow Moulding UKSC
Employees and their
families participated in
a poster competition.
The posters will be
displayed in the site to
remind everyone that
safety is not just for
Safety Week – it is for
life – at home and at
work

An information board
was installed to inform
everyone of the safety
procedures and why
they are in place

Members of the Ace
team got together to
sign their commitment
to safety.

Superfos Poland
Superfos Lubien separated the
3 elements of this year’s
slogan, with training and
discussions about how the
team can improve safety every
day. This was followed by fire
evacuation and training and
then by a look at how to return
home safely with a
presentation and Q&A session
on the new driving rules in
Poland

RPC Manuplastics – Food for Thought
Manuplastics held a “food for thought”session
which focussed on the message “Safety is
priority number one”.
A goal was set during the session Participation, commitment and continuous
improvement needed from all RPC
Manuplastics employees to eradicate the gaps
identified within the existing H&S system.
During the session, lunch was served to all.

The office workers were
treated to a training session on
posture and safety for
sedentary workers.
Safety training wasn’t just for
fun – with a written exam at
the end, everyone made sure
that they paid attention!

RPC Bebo Plastik and Bebo Print
In-running nip simulator.
Bebo rented a machine to
show just what happens if a
finger gets caught in an in
running nip- the results are
quite shocking and the
message is clearly received!

RPC Bebo Corby
RPC Bebo continued their fire
exit identification with the
addition of the vertical red
stripe seen in the good
practice share this month.
Reminders of real accidents
were posted around the site to
ensure that we are never
complacent when it comes to
safety
Participation is key and the
team got stuck in to the safety
quiz!

water alone – as
suggested by La Genete

Rescue and first aid

a focus at Llantrisant
with health checks.

focussed on the
avoidance of accidents
and safe working

Bramlage Wiko treated Slips Trips and Falls
Wiko Pulheim,
conscious of the
importance of slips,
trips and falls in the
group sought to
investigate and
improve this aspect of
daily life.

Ace Shanghai – Slogan and Family poster competition
The Shanghai site got
encouraged employees
and their families to
produce slogans and
posters in a competition.
A fun caption competition
was also included in the
site’s activities
When the whole family is
involved is involved in
safety, it becomes a way
of life!

Everyone got
involved at Randers!
This also included a
body-age test to
promote as well as
safety.

Bramlage Formatec
Formatec started with hearing
protection customised for each
user.
They ran training in correct
posture for the office based
members of the team.
They also ran defibrillator
training
All of these are great ways of
getting the safety message
across and giving people the
skills to stay safe and healthy.

was provided with a
“hole” in a golf game
which also included
questions and
information on
Safety.
People from all parts
of the business
participated.

screening to
improve employee’s
knowledge of health
lifestyles

Team members were
asked to create their own
Safety Manifesto – telling
the world of the actions
that they will take to
improve safety - simple
every day actions such as
!I will not run up stairs” or
“I will not ride without a
helmet”
Commitment to improving
our own habits and
making safety part of our
normal day is what RPC
Safety Week is all about.

The Info Tower at
Kutenholz was a great
way to educate and
inform employees
close to the work
areas.
treating topics like
hazard evaluation, skin
protection, work place
design or Gas under
pressure.

to avoid both
injury and
environmental
impact in the
event of a
chemical spillage

week was evident
throughout the site by
using the safety week
banner provided by
group marketing
services

introduced more
information about
safety with a
permanent
noticeboard.
The team signed up
to commit to safe
working – this was
displayed fro all to
see.
All received a safety
related gift.
