educational records
• Students decide if a third person, i.e., a
parent, can obtain information on them:
– “No one inside or outside the University shall
have access to, nor will the contents of
students’ education records be disclosed
without the written consent of the student.”

Financial Responsibility
• Account balance is student’s responsibility,
regardless of who is paying
• Failure to attend classes does not constitute
official drop or withdrawal
• Prior semester balances will result in enrollment
cancellation
• Unpaid balances will be sent to external
collections once internal collections efforts
have failed
– Will negatively impact credit rating
– Additional fees, such as collection fees, legal
fees, etc., will be the student’s responsibility

• $285.25 per credit hour, 1 to 14 hours
(full-time begins at12 hours)
• $214.89 per credit hour, 15 hours or more
– $3,223.35 full-time block, 15-18 hours
• $2,503.35 covered by the Legislative Lottery
Scholarship ($166.89/hr)
Non-Residents of NM
• $861.00 per credit hour
• $10,332.00 full-time block, 12 - 18 hours
