Introduction
 International Conference of Young Researchers on Advanced
Materials (IUMRS-ICYRAM) is a newly conference sponsored by
International Union of Materials Research Societies (IUMRS).
 The first conference (ICYRAM2012) was organized by Materials
Research Society of Singapore. Chinese Materials Research
Society(C-MRS) will host the second conference of IUMRSICYRAM2014.
 The conference provides the opportunity for young researchers
(under the age of 40) from the world to exchange their recent
achievements on the research and development of materials
science and engineering.

 Step 1: Please download the form of Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit
for your visa application at the Visa Application page;
 Step 2: Fill out it (the part in red) and send it back to the e-mail of
[email protected] before August 15, 2014;
 Step 3: When we receive the form for Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit
which you have completed, we will send you the scan copy of Invitation Letter of
Duly Authorized Unit stamped by Email;
 Step 4: Print the form stamped which we send to you and go to the related
Embassy/Consulate General /Consulate/Office of the P. R. China near to your
residence to apply your visa to China.

Awards
Young Researcher Award
IUMRS–MRS Singapore Young Researcher award will be given at
IUMRS-ICYRAM2014 conference.
The winner will have a chance to give a lecture on the plenary
session in the afternoon of Oct. 27th , 2014
Excellent Paper and Poster awards
The awards of Excellent Paper and Excellent Poster are established
for IUMRS-ICYRAM2014. The participants under the age of 40 may
apply for the awards. The maximum of 10 ‘Excellent Papers’ and 10
‘Excellent Poster’ may be selected.
The awards ceremony will be arranged in the afternoon of Oct. 27.
