Alcoholics Anonymous
Exploring Recovery
Event
21st May 2012
Alcoholics Anonymous
Is a fellowship of men and woman who share
their experience, strength and hope with each
other that they may solve their common
problem and help others to recover from
alcoholism.
The only requirement for membership is a
desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or
fees for AA membership; we are selfsupporting through our own contributions……
“Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic”
Commencing to drink after a period of
sobriety, we are in a short time as bad as
ever.
If we are planning to stop drinking, there
must be no reservation of any kind, nor any
lurking notion that someday we will be
immune to alcohol.
