About Us
Shikshan Prasarak Mandali (SPM), Pune and other
well established schools, Colleges, Management
Institutes, has established
Late Prin. B. V. Bhide Foundation
for Education and Research, in Chemistry and
allied sciences. The foundation is originated from
post graduate diploma in industrial analytical
chemistry , an autonomous job oriented courses .
Preamble
At present, chemistry graduates, in spite of scoring
good marks in the university examinations, find it
difficult to get a suitable job in the chemical and
allied industries. Probably because they are neither
adequately equipped nor suitably oriented to meet
the changing demands of the industry. On this
background Late Prin. B. V. Bhide Foundation is
starting the course to improve the employment
potential of the chemistry graduates.
The emphasis is on the
use of chemistry in different fields like
pharmaceutical, dyes, pigments, agro and
construction chemical.
The course content includes the different
requirement of the industry like, production
quality, pollution control and safety. The topics
in the syllabus are selected in consultation with
the experience people from the industry. The
faculty for the course will be from the reputed
companies and research institutions.
