Pastoral care
If a student is experiencing problems (eg with their supervisor or
personal reasons affecting their research degree progress), the first
point of contact is their supervisor.
If this isn't appropriate, the student should contact their Section Rep or
Hayley Kendall (Research Degrees Manager) who can help and offer
advice, or refer the student to the appropriate Deputy Director or
Director of Postgraduate Research.
All meetings remain confidential.
Important things new students need to know!
If you have any queries about your enrolment, contact Hayley Kendall.
Make sure you refer to the online research student handbook - it includes all of the
information you will need to help you through your life as a PhD student! All of the
forms, procedures, submission deadlines, contact details etc are available here.
