o Bachelor of Arts (BA)
o Bachelor of Science (BS)

Academic Advisor Responsibilities (College Professional)
– Help you navigate the university system
– Connect you to the campus and campus resources
– Help you ask the right questions
– Supply you with information to make informed decisions
– Explain academic policies and procedures
– Approve transfer credits to be applied towards your
general education requirements
– Provide academic updates and assist you in planning for
success
– Facilitate graduation

Student Responsibilities
– Understand the basics of UC Denver’s college-level
expectations and how they may differ from those in
your previous college
– Learn how to manage your time
– Feed your brain! Exercise and eat healthy
– Set academic goals with assistance of advisors
– Learn UC Denver’s general education and your major
requirements. Understand that they may be different
from those at your previous college
– Know academic policies and deadlines
– Understand the importance of professionalism and
ethical behavior
– Ask for help when needed
– Verify schedule
