Tabernacle With us “LORD”
Desire, it is a dainty word! It were
much that He should satisfy the need,
the want; but He goeth far beyond
that. Pity is moved to meet our need;
duty may sometimes look after our
wants; but to satisfy the desire implies a tender watchfulness, a sweet
and gracious knowledge of us, an
eagerness of blessing.
God is never satisfied until He
has satisfied our desires.
REMEMBER THIS AND LIVE
I WOULD RATHER LIVE

A. The Feast of Trumpets
1. Blessed enough to be a blessing
Lev. 23:22 “When you reap the harvest of
your land, do not reap to the very edge
of your fields or gather the gleanings
of your harvest. Leave them for the
poor and alien. I am the Lord your God”
God wanted Israel to understand that
when you receive you are to give. By
having been blessed with a large harvest; it is to the glory of God that you
give back by taking care of those that
are less fortunate than yourself

a) Out of the Ark of Safety…
Eph. 2:12 “Remember that at the time you
were separate from Christ, excluded
from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise,
without hope and without God in the
world”
They were counted as unworthy by the
Jewish order and accepted as unclean.
Before Jesus no contact was made to
bring them on board

b) The Green-eyed Monster…
Acts 13:46-49 “Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: ‘We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since
you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of
eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. For this is
what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have made you a
light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to
the ends of the earth.’ When the Gentiles heard this,
they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and
all who were appointed for eternal life believed. The
word of the Lord spread through the whole region”
God’s plan was through Israel all the world would
know Him (Jesus first Gen. 12:3). Because of their not
accepting Christ as the Savior; God commissioned Paul &
Barnabas (Jews) to speak the gospel to the Gentiles. His
word would not return to Him void!!

b) The Green-eyed Monster…
Acts 14:27 “On arriving there, gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through
them and how He had opened the
door of faith to the Gentiles”
This confirms God’s word being accomplished. They reported by bringing glory to God

Num. 10:2 “Make two trumpets of hammered silver, and use
them for calling the community together and for having
the camps set out”
Used to assemble the people and signal movement
a) The gathering of the Saints…
1 Thess. 4:16,17 “For the Lord Himself will come down
from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the
archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the
dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are
still alive and are left will be caught together with Him
in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will
be with the Lord forever”
Those that died for the cause of Christ are to be raised
first to be with Him. And the remaining faithful of Christ
will meet Him in the clouds

a) The gathering of the Saints…
1 Corin. 15:51,52 “Listen, I tell you a mystery:
We will not all sleep, but we will all be
changed—in a flash in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet
will sound, the dead will be raised
imperishable, and we will be changed”
Not all will see death, but the mystery is
that we will be changed from this shell
of fleshly sin to a spiritual newness of
life!!!

B. The Day of Atonement (Lev. 23:27)
The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves, and
present an offering made to the Lord by fire”
1. A way out for His people…
Lev. 16:7-10 “Then he is to take the two goats and present
them to the Lord at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. He is to cast lots for the two goats—one lot for the
Lord and the other for the scapegoat. Aaron shall
bring the goat whose lot falls to the Lord and sacrifice it for a sin offering. But the goat chosen by lot as
the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the Lord
to be used for making atonement by sending it into the
desert as a scapegoat”
This shows God dealing with sin and giving His
people an avenue to escape from further sinning
and the guilt that always follows (Jesus The
Scapegoat)

B. The Day of Atonement
1. A way out for His people…
a) Those without any hope…
Rev. 1:7 “Look, He is coming with the
clouds, and every eye will see Him,
even those who pierced Him; and all
the people of the earth will mourn
because of Him”
If you are not in Christ when He returns; expect to suffer pain and to
mourn

Lev. 23:34 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the Lord’s
Feast of Tabernacles begins, and it lasts for
seven days”
1. In Close Quarters…Lev. 23:42,43
“Live in booths for seven days: All nativeborn Israelites are to live in booths so your
descendants will know that I had the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of
Egypt. I am the Lord your God”
God’s protection and guidance in the desert

1. In Close Quarters…
a) Mansions In The Sky…
Jn. 14:1-3 “Do not let your hearts be troubled.
Trust in God; trust also in Me. In My Father’s
house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would
have told you. I am going there to prepare a
place for you. And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I will come back and take you to be
with Me that you may be where I am”
Jesus provides a place for all who put there
faith & trust in Him. He’s personally preparing
the place for you, and will come and guide you
back to its exact location

1. In Close Quarters…
a) Mansions In The Sky…
Rev. 21:1-3 “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for
the first heaven and first earth had passed away, and
there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the
new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying,
‘Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live
with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will
be with them and be their God’”
God is going to take up residence with his people and we
are all going to be one big happy family. The marriage of
Jesus and His Church or God and His people represents
the house of safety that God provides for His own

Celebrations Continue
A slave was “redeemed” when someone paid money to buy his
or her freedom. God redeemed us from the tyranny of sin, not
with money, but with the precious blood of His own Son. We
cannot escape from sin on our own; only the life of God’s Son
can free us
1st born male belong to God (Man or Beast)
Christ is our Passover lamb, the perfect sacrifice for our sin. BeNo yeast was to be eaten (represents Sin)
cause he has delivered us from the slavery of sin; we should

have nothing to do with the sins of the past (“old yeast”)
Pass this on to your children
Requires that the first crops harvested be
offered to God. The Israelites could not eat
the food from their harvest until they had
made this offering
Today God still expects us to set aside His portion first, not last. Giving
leftovers to God is no way to express thanks. Firstfruits were the first
part of the harvest that faithful Jews brought to the temple as an offering. Although Christ was not the first to rise from the dead, He was the
first to never die again
A festival praising God for a bountiful harvest. Celebrate to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the
blessings the Lord your God has given you.
Peter’s speech was given to an international audience, and it resulted
in a worldwide harvest of new believers—the first converts to Christianity. Fulfillment of prophesies from John the Baptist (Luke 3:16) and
Joel (Joel 2:28,29)
Because Jesus Christ came back to life, so will all believers. All

The removal of sin from the people and Their only access to God was through the high priest, who would

raise us to eternal life in a world where sin will be banished.
Jesus’ words show that the the way to eternal life, though unGod’s protection and guidance in the desert

Renewed Israel’s commitment to God and

WHAT IT SAYS
This is my Bible, I am who my Bible say I am,
I can do what my Bible say I can do. I have
what my Bible say I have, my Bible
teaches my spirit, my spirit teaches my
mind, and my mind teaches my body. My
Bible is full of promises and commandments, my Bible has good and bad examples. How do I know my Bible is true? By
comparing scripture with scripture and
spiritual things with spiritual things. I
study my Bible to show myself approved,
rightly dividing the Word of God.
