On 10th September Nimy Vincent and
Anju K L (S7 EC) participated in Calicut
University inter collegiate shuttle
tournament and won runner up trophy.
On 17th December, our students
participated in the Calicut University inter
collegiate women table tennis
tournament and our team won the
second runner up trophy. The team
members were Gem Fanya Tresa(S3 BM),
Nimmy Varghese, Riya Joy, Ashline Davis
and Jini (S8 EC).


On 17th December, Gem Fanya Tresa(S3
BM), won second runner up trophy in
women table tennis individual
championship and she got selected to
Calicut University table tennis team.
On 27th December, Gem Fanya Tresa(S3
BM), participated in south zone inter
university women table tennis tournament,
and her team from Calicut University got
selected for the All India level women table
tennis tournament held at Delhi.


Calicut University women table tennis team had
participated in the All India Inter University Table
Tennis Championship 2012-13 Scheduled at
Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi from 24th to 27th
Jnuary, 2013. Ms. Veenus Paul , Asst. director of
Physical Education was appointed as Manager of
that team.
On 15th January 2013 our men and women team
participated in the PECSAGA (Private Engineering
College Sports and Games Association) Shuttle
tournament held at Royal Engineering College,
Akkikavu, and our women team won the first
prize. The team members were Nimy Vincent,
Anju K. L, Linda Varghese, Osheen P Lazer and
Bhavya.

On 11th February 2013 our men team
participated in the PECSAGA (Private
Engineering College Sports and Games
Association) Basketball tournament held
at Nehru College Pambady. And won the
runner up trophy, the team members
were Antony John, George S Aikkara,
Anish J Manual, Abby Raphy, Bastin
Parakka, Allen, Anandhakrishnan and
Jaison


On 18th February 2013 our women team
participated in the PECSAGA Table Tennis
tournament held at our college. And won
the runner up trophy, the team members
were Gem Fanya Tresa, Anamika, Nimmy
Varghese, Riya Joy and Ashline Davis.
Our college conducted two friendly
matches with Christ college in Table Tennis
and Basketball.










P U Chithra, the current national champion
was invited to inaugurate our annual sports
meet on February 23rd 2013.


Calicut University sanctioned new NSS Unit in
our college and Mrs. Veenus is appointed as
the Programme Officer
Mrs Veenus started her MBA in Sports
Admnisration under the Tamil Nadu Physical
Education University.

We are planning to start training for different
teams like football, basketball, shuttle, table
tennis etc. for boys
We are also planning to make different teams
like basketball, shuttle, table tennis etc. for
girls


We would like to conduct friendly matches
with our students for improvement and
development of skills in different games and
sports
Through the physical education we wish to
develop our student’s physical, mental, social
and emotional well being.
