Minimum Grades
• Graduate School requires a minimum
cumulative GPA of 3.000 for graduation
• Students also required to maintain a
cumulative GPA of 3.000 throughout
their programs
Additional Requirements to Maintain
Satisfactory Academic Progress
• “All degree graduate students must make substantial
and visible progress toward their degrees.”
– In addition to course work, must make progress
toward comprehensive or doctoral qualifying exam,
thesis or dissertation, etc.
• Six-year time limit for master’s, 8-year limit for
doctorate
