Academic Planning Steps

Step One: Find the University of Maryland equivalents to your current and
completed courses using the Transfer Credit Center.

Step Two: Download the degree requirements and academic plans for your
intended UM major.

Step Three: Identify your remaining general education (CORE) and major
requirements.

Step Four: Review the academic plans and undergraduate catalog for course
sequences and prerequisites.

Step Five: Create an academic plan that outlines your remaining courses in a
semester-by-semester format.

Step Six: Submit your academic plan for review to [email protected] .
