Numbered cosc648 to cosc701
If you missed class, you can ask any of the TAs
Passwords are 9 characters
 PeopleSoft ID number followed by capitalized
last and first initial of your name.
 In short, that's PSID+L+F
Example

Password for Fudd, Elmer J with PeopleSoft ID
1112222 is
 1112222 + F + E = 1112222FE

 Download putty.exe from
http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/
putty/download.html
 Select
 bayou.cs.uh.edu as Host Name
 SSH as Connection type

From a Mac:
 Mac OS X has a built-in SSH client
called Terminal
 On most systems, you can find it in
Applications > Utilities folder
 Start it and type:
ssh <your userID>@bayou.cs.uh.edu
By the way, the Mac Terminal app
is a full-fledged UNIX shell

From an Android device:
 Go to Google Play Store
 Download a free terminal app
 I use Connectbot:
http://code.google.com/p/connectbot/
 Do not expect to do too much work with it!

From a Linux computer:
 Open a shell and type:
ssh <your userID>@bayou.cs.uh.edu

