The young driver from Oman, Shihab Al Habsi, has
courageously faced weather conditions that are a very
long way from those of his country. Only 47th on a very
slippery track, he progressed despite the intensity of
the fighting in the qualifying heats and his Parolin /
Parilla was in the top 10 several times. With combativeness, Shihab managed to qualify and ranked 28th
in the Final despite a motor problem that prevented
him from getting a better result.

n the track at 7 Laghi di Castelletto, the second weekend of the WSK Super Master Series again thwarted the Parolin Racing Kart team’s objectives. However, there have been
good performances already to the credit of the Italian team whose ambitions remain
very high for the 2017 season.
«The results of this WSK Super Master round are
not really in line with our ambitions, but the level of
performance of our chassis is already very encouraging,» Albino Parolin commented. «We saw that
Camplese could be very fast in KZ2, while Mini went
well in 60 Mini. Al Habsi is making good progress in

He took pole position in the timed practice among the
79 participants, then dominated the qualifying heats
with three wins and two fastest laps. 3rd in his Prefinal, he climbed up two places in the Final to finish
4th. Gabriele is therefore close to the leaders in 4th
position of the Championship.

Not yet very comfortable in the rain with the new Bridgestone tyres, Lorenzo Camplese (KZ2) showed excellent speed as soon as the track dried. Even though
the level of grip was never exceptional, he already
gained 12 positions in the last qualifying heat on Saturday while achieving the fastest lap of the race. On
Sunday, he assured his qualification in the Prefinal before exploiting the full potential of his Parolin / TM in
the Final. Thanks to his performances that were very
close to those of the leaders, he managed to regain no
less than 14 places to finish 13th in the race, making
him the driver to achieve the most number of passes
in the Finals while maintaining an extremely fast pace
throughout the race. He set his fastest time on the last
lap, demonstrating the effectiveness of his equipment
over the long term.
Parolin Racing Kart is looking forward to the next
round of the WSK Super Master Series at La Conca
on March 18th and 19th, to better reveal its potential.

Il giovane pilota dell’Oman, Shihab Al Habsi ha coraggiosamente affrontato delle condizioni meteo molto diverse da quelle del suo paese di origine. Solo quarantasettesimo nelle prove cronometrate disputate su una
pista molto scivolosa, è riuscito a migliorare nonostante
l’intensità delle battaglie nelle manche di qualificazione
e il suo Parolin/Parilla si è trovato spesso nei Top 10.
A suon di battaglie, Shihab è riuscito a qualificarsi e a
conquistare un ventottesimo posto in finale nonostante
un problema al motore che gli ha impedito di ottenere
un risultato migliore.

ul circuito 7 Laghi di Castelletto le condizioni meteo che hanno caratterizzato il secondo
appuntamento della WSK Super Master Series hanno nuovamente ostacolato i progetti del
Team Parolin Racing Kart. Tuttavia bisogna riconoscere il merito al team italiano, le cui ambizioni per la stagione 2017 rimangono molto alte, di avere già realizzato delle ottime performance.
“I risultati di questa WSK Super Master non rispecchiano esattamente le nostre ambizioni, ma il livello di performance dei nostri telai è già molto incoraggiante”, ha commentato Albino Parolin. “Abbiamo
visto che Camplese poteva essere molto veloce nella
KZ2, mentre Mini era ben piazzato nella 60 Mini. Al
Habsi ha fatto degli ottimi progressi nella OK-Junior
e le sue performance in questo week-end sono state
abbastanza positive nel complesso. Non vediamo l’ora
tutti di lasciarci alle spalle queste condizioni meteo invernali per assistere a gare più significative. Il team non
ha ancora raggiunto la sua velocità di crociera, e l’arrivo
imminente di nuovi piloti ci consentirà di sviluppare il
nostro mezzo già competitivo”.
Non ancora a suo agio sul bagnato con i nuovi pneumatici Bridgestone, Lorenzo Camplese (KZ2) ha dimostrato
eccellenti capacità non appena la pista si è asciugata.
Anche se il livello di grip non è mai stato eccellente, è
riuscito a rimontare dodici posizioni nell’ultima manche
di qualificazione di sabato realizzando il giro più veloce
in gara. Domenica si è qualificato nella prefinale per poi
sfruttare tutto il potenziale del suo Parolin/TM in finale.
Grazie a performance molto vicine a quelle dei leader,
è riuscito a rimontare quattordici posizioni per concludere la prova al tredicesimo posto. Questa impresa
l’ha reso il pilota che è riuscito a realizzare il maggior
numero di sorpassi in finale mantenendo al contempo
un ritmo molto veloce nel corso di tutta la gara. Il suo
miglior tempo l’ha d’altronde realizzato nell’ultimo giro
dimostrando così l’efficacia del suo mezzo per tutta la
durata della gara.
Nella competitiva categoria delle 60 mini, Gabriele Mini
ha fatto ancora scintille al volante del suo Parolin/TM.
Per iniziare ha conquistato la pole nelle prove cronometrate, sbaragliando i 79 partecipanti e poi ha dominato
le manche di qualificazione con tre vittorie e due giri
più veloci in gara. Terzo nella sua prefinale, è rimontato
di due posizioni in finale per terminare al quarto posto.
Gabriele si è avvicinato così ai leader, conquistando il
quarto posto in campionato.
Parolin Racing Kart attende impaziente il prossimo appuntamento della WSK Super Master Series a La Conca i prossimi 18 e 19 marzo per dimostrare meglio il suo potenziale.

Le jeune pilote d’Oman Shihab Al Habsi a courageusement fait face aux conditions climatiques très
éloignées de celles de son pays. Seulement 47e lors
des chronos disputés sur une piste très glissante, il
progressait malgré l’intensité des combats dans les
manches qualificatives et on pointait son Parolin/Parilla plusieurs fois dans le top 10. À force de combativité, Shihab réussissait à se qualifier et se classait 28e
en finale malgré un problème moteur qui l’empêchait
d’obtenir un meilleur résultat.

a de nouveau contrarié quelque peu les projets de l’équipe Parolin Racing Kart. Cependant, de belles performances sont déjà à mettre au crédit de l’équipe italienne dont les
ambitions restent très hautes pour la saison 2017.
« Les résultats de cette WSK Super Master ne sont
pas vraiment conformes à nos ambitions, mais le niveau de performance de nos châssis est déjà très
encourageant. » commentait Albino Parolin. « On a
vu que Camplese pouvait être très rapide en KZ2,
tandis que Mini était bien dans le coup en 60 Mini. Al
Habsi réalise de gros progrès en OK-Junior et il a réalisé quelques bonnes performances ce week-end.
Nous avons tous hâte de sortir de ces conditions hivernales pour assister à des courses plus significatives.
L’équipe n’a pas encore atteint son rythme de croisière,
l’arrivée prochaine de nouveaux pilotes va nous permettre de développer notre matériel déjà compétitif. »
Pas encore très à l’aise sous la pluie avec les nouveaux pneus Bridgestone, Lorenzo Camplese (KZ2)
montrait d’excellentes dispositions dès que la piste
séchait. Même si le niveau d’adhérence n’a jamais été
exceptionnel, il remontait déjà de 12 positions dans
la dernière manche qualificative samedi tout en réalisant le meilleur tour en course. Dimanche, il assurait
sa qualification en préfinale avant d’exploiter tout le
potentiel de son Parolin/TM en finale. Grâce à des performances très proches de celles des leaders, il parvenait à reprendre pas moins de 14 places pour terminer
13e de l’épreuve, faisant de lui le pilote ayant réussi
le plus grand nombre de dépassements en finale tout
en maintenant un rythme extrêmement rapide durant
toute la course. Il réalisait d’ailleurs son meilleur temps
dans le dernier tour, démontrant ainsi l’efficacité de
son matériel dans la durée.
Dans la très concurrentielle catégorie des 60 Mini,
Gabriele Mini a encore fait des étincelles au volant de
son Parolin/TM. Il réalisait pour commencer la pole position des essais chronométrés parmi 79 participants,
puis dominait les manches qualificatives avec trois
victoires assorties de deux meilleurs tours en course.
3e de sa préfinale, il remontait de deux places en finale pour terminer 4e. Gabriele se rapprochait ainsi
des leaders à la 4e position du Championnat.
Parolin Racing Kart attend avec impatience le prochain rendez-vous de la WSK Super Master Series à
La Conca les 18 et 19 mars pour mieux révéler son
potentiel.
