In March the Medical Services of ITM invite their European colleagues, doctors and professors to Antwerp for the 18th TropNet Workshop. TropNet is a
scientific society of European specialists of travel medicine and tropical pathology. Currently the association has over 50 members from some 13
European countries, ranging from Scandinavia to southern Europe. TropNet is a forum for the exchange of clinical and epidemiological information on
import pathology. TropNet also initiates and coordinates clinical studies on certain tropical and infectious diseases, and conducts research on the quality
of guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of imported infectious diseases.
