VISUAL MERCHANDISING
Visual Merchandising is, essentially, the art of “displaying” the merchandise in such a way to
encourage the customer to purchase.
In today’s vision of “retailing”, this means much more than “dressing a shop-window”,“dressing
mannequins”, or “furnishing” the entire store.
Visual Merchandising is the primary medium projecting the total image of the store; moreover,
it is indispensable for the success of the store as much as the merchandise itself.
Visual Merchandising is directly responsible for the creation and control of the “communication
signals”“delivered” by the store which form the “Brand image”.
The CHERVÒ image is multifaceted: technological research, love for detail, formal cleanliness,
ability to speak an international language, product research and design encompassing different
conditions of use and technical features, in confirmation of the highest qualitative standard.
All CHERVÒ products are created having in mind a number of possibilities of -coordination. They
are designed in order to match, overlap and integrate themselves—constantly enriched by the
addition of new models, accessories and collections.
The different features, the materials and the technologies, have to be blended and enhanced
in the way the products are displayed. Our products are used in several situations, latitudes and
weather conditions guaranteeing their “all-seasons” usage.
The shop-window and the store itself need to be able to communicate to the customer the
technological and research levels, the service and the “value” of the store, rather than just the
type, the quality, and price of the merchandise.
The purpose of the shop-windows and in store display is to stimulate sales (Show and Sell),
to arouse “desire”, thus, each detail is essential.
We strongly believe in the necessity of constantly asking ourselves questions aiming at verifying
the effectiveness and the accuracy of our displays and shop-windows, wondering whether we
can deliver a clear message about: recommendation of use, technical specifications, prices,
promotions; and, furthermore, if we can capture the attention of our customers respecting the
“coordinated rules of image” established for the brand.
Il Visual Merchandising è, fondamentalmente, l’arte di “esporre” la merce in modo tale da
stimolare il cliente all’acquisto.
Nel mondo odierno del “retailing”, ciò significa molto più dell’“allestire le vetrine”, del “vestire i
manichini” o dell’ “arredare” l’intero negozio. Il Visual Merchandising è il veicolo primario che
proietta l’immagine totale del negozio; ed è tanto indispensabile al successo del negozio
quanto la merce stessa.
Il Visual Merchandising è il diretto responsabile della realizzazione del controllo dei “segnali
comunicativi” che il negozio “trasmette” e sono “l’immagine del Marchio”.
L’immagine CHERVÒ è fatta di molti fattori: ricerca tecnologica, amore del dettaglio, pulizia
formale, capacità di parlare un linguaggio internazionale, ricerca e design del prodotto, declinati
per occasioni d’uso e caratteristiche tecniche, a conferma di un altissimo standard qualitativo.
Tutti i prodotti CHERVÒ nascono con una logica di multi-coordinamento. Sono progettati
per essere abbinati, sovrapposti ed integrati tra loro, sempre arricchiti da aggiunte di nuovi
modelli, accessori e collezioni. Le diverse caratteristiche, i materiali e le tecnologie, vanno fuse
ed esaltate espositivamente. I nostri prodotti si utilizzano in molteplici situazioni, latitudini e
temperature a totale garanzia del loro impiego “all-seasons”.
Le vetrine ed il negozio stesso, devono essere in grado di comunicare al cliente non solo il tipo
di merce, la qualità, il prezzo, ma anche il livello di tecnologia, di ricerca, il servizio e il “valore”
del negozio.
L’obiettivo delle vetrine e dei display interno è quindi di stimolare la vendita (Show and Sell), di
suscitare il “desiderio” e quindi, ogni dettaglio è fondamentale.
A nostro avviso è necessario porsi sempre alcune domande per verificare l’efficacia e la
correttezza delle nostre operazioni in displays e vetrine e quindi chiedersi, per esempio, se
riusciamo a trasmettere un messaggio chiaro su: occasioni d’uso, caratteristiche tecniche,
prezzi, promozioni; e ancora se riusciamo a catturare l’attenzione dei clienti nel rispetto delle
“regole d’immagine coordinata” che ci siamo posti.
