Key recommendation:
 Start Indo-Norwegian collaboration in education at
institutions with ongoing research collaboration
 Add master students to an ongoing or starting
research project which has Indian and Norwegian
supervisors. Requires special funding, as RCN does
not fund master students
 Take it from there and follow-up with MoUs on
collaboration in education

JOINTINDNOR: INDNOR call with Indian (activity-matched) co-funding, so
far with DST,
joint project description involving Indian and Norwegian research institutions
submitting proposals to DST and RCN, respectively. JWG approves.
Initial priorities:
• Climate research including CCS (carbon capture / storage)
• Renewable energy including solar energy
• Geotechnology and early warning systems for geohazards
• Nano-science/ technology related to renewable energy



