Il posizionamento strategico della città quale punto di incrocio di
importanti vie di comunicazione stradali, ferroviarie e fluviali, la
dotazione infrastrutturale dell’area e il tessuto imprenditoriale diffuso e
specializzato nel settore dell’autotrasporto hanno portato il polo logistico
piacentino a diventare uno dei più importanti del Sud Europa, scelto
come insediamento ottimale dai principali player sia italiani che europei.
E’ il mercato ad aver battezzato la vocazione logistica piacentina,
sostenuta e accompagnata da un’azione politica partecipe e convinta da
parte dell’Amministrazione comunale.
La prima edizione di Bilog, frutto dell’intesa con l’Autorità Portuale della
Spezia, rappresenta quindi una preziosa occasione per la promozione
del distretto logistico di Piacenza e una significativa opportunità per
riflettere sulle prospettive di un comparto industriale che ha riflessi
importanti sul futuro e sulla qualità della vita del Paese e della nostra
comunità.
The strategic location of Piacenza, at the crossroads of important
roadways, rail routes and riverways, has led our logistics hub to become
one of the most important competitors in Southern Europe, supported by
advanced infrastructure services and by a well developed road haulage
industry based in the area. Both Italian and foreign leading players have
deemed it an optimal solution for their businesses.
Whilst the market itself has given impulse to Piacenza’s vocation in
logistics, the political action and participation of the City Council has
constantly sustained and enhanced this specialization.
The first edition of Bilog is a tangible result of our agreement with the Port
Authority of La Spezia and represents a precious opportunity not only to
promote the logistics hub of Piacenza, but also to debate on the future
of a sector that can have a high impact on the quality of life of our local
community as of the whole Country.

Le vie fluviali
La navigabilità dei fiumi è un tema di sempre maggior
rilievo, non solo a livello turistico, ma anche come valida
alternativa al trasporto su strada o su ferrovia.
La sessione, che tratta tematiche particolarmente
rilevanti per il contesto territoriale piacentino, è dedicata
al possibile ruolo dei fiumi navigabili nel sistema
multimodale di trasporto.

carburanti alternativi come LNG.
