Interests
In am interested in the development and application of machine learning techniques to analyse Intelligent Transport Systems data and to forecast time series. My research focuses on unsupervisedclassification algorithms, Support Vector Machines, optimization of Neural Networks architecture
applied to the transport and energy sectors.

Short Term Scientific Mission funded by the COST Action TD1207 Mathematical Optimization in
the Decision Support Systems for Efficient and Robust Energy Networks Systems. The objective of
this STSM was to identify suitable Neural Network (NN) architecture and training procedures to
support the forecast of gas flow. The main goal of the analysis was to compute accurate forecasts
for gas flow in the next 24 and 48 hours to support operational decisions.
