Hunting
By: Lucas Klettke
The Positives Overweigh The
Negatives
• There are controversies that surround
hunting; but after all the good things
I’ve learned and received from hunting
I realize that we need to hunt for a
number of reasons.
Reasons For Hunting
• Population Control
– Help farmers produce better crops.
– Keep our insurance rates lower.
Reasons For Hunting Continued….
• Ethics Taught From
Hunting
– Bonding families
together, hunting is a
great hobby.
– Teaches good work
ethics when done
correctly.
Reasons For Hunting Continued….
• Finally hunting helps
keep smaller towns
going economically.
– Hunters need a place
to sleep and eat.
– Some may need tour
guides.
Solutions For Problems
• Safety
– Young hunters are
now required to take
a hunters safety
class before they are
allowed to hunt.
Click For Example.
Finally…
• Hunting On Public Land
– Dean Hildebrand who is the head of the
North Dakota Game and Fish Department
is starting a new program called
CoverLocks.
– This program will help keep a better
relationship between hunters and farmers.
In Conclusion
– In Conclusion, hunting needs to be a part
of our society. Many of the reasons we
never even thought about, such as helping
keep our insurance lower or keeping
smaller towns going. As far as the
controversies go, efforts are being put
forth to make the wrongs, right.
