 TITAS (Tamadun Islam & Tamadun Asia –Islamic

 Entrepreneurship
 Require 13 Public Institutions of Higher Learning
register with the Open Courseware Consortium
 2nd Develop and upload other general subjects into the
same platform

 Promote Awareness
 Devise Training of Trainers programme
 Development of Modules for designing & Delivery MOOCS
 Design Training for courseware developers

Current Status
 The first MOOC course offered in Malaysia was by Taylor’s
college in March 2013 – Entrepreneurship
 July 2013 – Achieving success with Emotional Intelligence
 April 2014 –PutraMOOC – Public University
 Major Trial run on July 17th 2014 involving 3 platforms
 Open4Learning (open4learn.upsi.edu.my)
 Open Learning (www.openlearning.com)
 Coursesite (www.coursesites.com)
