OUR MISSION
Riverside Brookfield High School is a
partnership of parents, students, staff, Board
of Education, elementary schools and
community. This academic partnership will
provide a comprehensive education in a safe,
orderly, well-equipped environment. All

Students placed in Reading are not advised to take a
World Language or Western Civilization Freshman year

Some students have been recommended for
Academic Support
Help with organization and study skills
 Homework support and help provided
 Communication between school and home

Study Hall is offered every period of the day
 Freshmen will take either 6 or 7 academic
courses

READING & MATH INTERVENTIONS
Depending on placement scores, students may
have been recommended for Extended Reading
and/or Extended Algebra
 Extended Reading (1.5 periods) Takes the place
of Western Civilization
 Extended Algebra (1.5 periods)
 Extended Reading AND Extended Algebra = Full
period of Academic Support
