• The HP in depth analysis is built from knowledge generated during the design, development, and testing of HP tape
drives. HP uses internal parameters that are only accessible to the HP drive development team for better analytics.

This is far superior to any analysis that can be done using only externally visible parameters .
Event based data gathering
• TapeAssure Advanced is better at providing flexibility for gathering system events
• Quantum’s Vision predefined frequency is inversely proportional to the number of devices being monitored & users
• TapeAssure Advanced provides an exhaustive list of information on the tape drive’s health, performance and utilization
• Quantum Vision provides very limited information: drive location, serial number & status only.
